I am useless at drawing graphics as you'll see from the banner, but I like to think I am reasonably handy with HTML and CSS. I'm sure that anyone living in England knows about the Thierry Henry saga thats been going on for a number of months. Will he, wont he sign a new contract with Arsenal and settle his future for good. Well it seems that losing the European Champions League may have done some good because it showed Henry just what a strong side he has around him and how much the manager, players, backroom staff and most importantly, the fans love and respect him and wanted him to stay... A quote from December 2003 from Thierry Henry; "Henry has long recognised his debt to Wenger, telling France Football magazine earlier this year: "In every match, I try to repay all the things he's given me. "He was the one who launched my pro career at Monaco and he was the one who then re-launched it at Arsenal, holding out a hand to me when I was feeling down."

I'd like to dedicate this whole blog to Arsenal for firstly reaching their first UEFA Champions League Semi-Final and secondly, reaching the Final after tonights game. They won 1-0 at home and managed a 0-0 result thanks to Jens Lehmann saving a penalty in the last 5 minutes of the game. We dont know who we'll be playing yet as the other Semi-Final isnt played until Wednesday night.

I have quite a few links on the right hand side of my Space but if you want to see alot more (currently well over 100) links to great freeware software. Check out my forum and get yourself some great software that wont cost you a penny. Its all 100% legal software that the authors have made for free and in most cases, only request that people give donations if they find the software useful. Theres also alot more going on, on my forum and its definately worth a visit to go and check out some great links to all manner of different websites and alot more besides... If you know of any great Freeware or Shareware program, please goto the forum and post links to them. If you know any websites that are worth a look, then also please go there and post them too. Blogging, what is it and whats it all about? Why is it getting more and more popular and does it serve a purpose? To answer the first question, Blog or Weblog to use its actual name is defined as; Main Entry:blog Okay well that explains what we have been wasting countless hours over or does it? I mean, there are millions and millions of us in the world all writing about anything and everything of intrest to us. When I started mine, it was because a friend had showed me what she had done and I was like cool, although I thought it was some half arsed effort to give people abit of webspace to put any crap in there that they could be bothered to write about. I'd seen the type of things that were possible and when I started I was impressed by it all and enjoyed doing it. I liked doing all the little tweaks on here that made it possible to have two custom html sanboxes (till you start playing around and have a nightmare getting them working again with different content). I also had two media players on my space which was a great idea until I realised there was no way possible of getting them to play seperate content without causing me to hit my head against the nearest static object (wall, table, door, etc...). So anyway, after a week or two searching out these things on other peoples spaces and learning what was possible it all started to slow down for me when I'd done everything and I concentrated on just adding blogs on here. I never wrote anything about myself personally, more just about websites I'd come across, funny cartoons and the like. Just basically anything I found intresting that I wanted to share with others. My space has always seen more ideas added to it after I have been asked things in comments and on my messnger list. I've been asked about getting media player on here, making playlists for media player and where to get the songs and videos from. All of this I have addressed by adding guides and things on there along the way to help those who were unsure. Now I know there are hundreds of others offering advice but when people are new on here, the more spaces with help there is, the more chance they'll have of finding that help. I was asked about strange things happening on peoples PCs and getting software for this and that and I have for the most part, sourced the software for them and then added it onto the lists on my space. Thing is for a long time I would find that I was getting alot of people coming by my space and leaving comments and that made it worth while because I knew people were getting some use out of the effort I was putting in. It was then around christmas that I decided I wanted to learn HTML properly to make a real website and add all my links, help guides and things onto there so more people would see them. Its happened so far in the form of a forum although I have a website ready to go as well, I dont feel I have enough content on there yet to go live with it yet. I guess what I am basically asking is do we do the whole msn space/blog thing because we like the idea of all these people around the world knowing we exist or are we doing it for our own amusement? Could it be that I am doing this because I like to know that we're actually passing the time for people who are totally bored out of their minds and need something to read or maybe they've always wondered about how to do this and that and now they've chanced apon my space, they've read about how easy it is? The simple truth of the matter is I no longer know because for a while, I started to get dissolusioned by it all and I was sorting out my new forum and I was finding myself putting effort into that instead. I have started to try and add more on my space as I always had a personal goal of trying to get either 500 page views in a week (I managed 392 (msn stats) once although the counter on my space said 306 (shiny stat) so I'll go with msn). Or maybe even something more realistic like getting upto 10'000 or maybe 15'000 visitors onto my space (Total page views: 5024 as of writing). But I do tend to find that most of the visitors to my space have either left no comments or they leave comments like "Kwl space, visit mine and leave a comment". I mean, what do they want me to do? Goto their space and have little or no intrest in reading what they have written and just write the usual crap? You know, "Thanks for visiting my space, you have a kwl space as well". Do these people people spend all of their time going from space to space doing this to get people to look at their spaces, just leaving hundreds of unimformative comments to drive traffic to their space? Oh well, I guess its what was always going to happen when spaces and blogs in general became ever more popular. There are probably hundreds of these "space exchanges" out there but where does it end? I've come across some that have litterally hundreds of spaces listed on there. How does anyone know what is on each individual space and which one do they choose to click on? We all like to think we have a great imagination and are able to write great blogs but the truth of it is, that one man's definition of a great blog is another man's definition of a waste of space (geddit? Okay, I'll lay off the jokes). There are professional blogs out there that are all about reporting news stories on the net and showing short snippets and pictures with links to the original story. Theres also alot of original content on there too with guest writers and opinions on certain subjects (pretty much like what I'm doing now). I guess the only real way of getting anything out of spaces is to do it for yourself and enjoy the time and effort you all put into making them. Everyone gets to a point of thinking "should I carry on and if I do, will I be able to come up with anything worth blogging about and will it be worth people reading it!?" To be honest, I dont know if this was worth reading but I have to say I would have gone on alot longer but I decided to sit and write until my eyes started to bleed and the skin on my fingers was peeling away. Okay its not, but you have sat and read all of this so I have to thankyou for that atleast. Maybe I have made a few valid points and got you thinking. Maybe I have just made you think "what an idiot". Its my opinion and if there are any typos in here, its because I dont want to read it and start editing it. I started writing what was on my mind and I didnt set out to write a polished blog... One last thing, I feel I should use this to mention my website (www.finding-it.com that I want to have up soon) and my forum (http://www.finding-it.com/forum) which is like I described earlier filled with links to freeware and shareware programs, website links (please feel free to post your favourite links on there) and also a members only area where I (and anyone else intrested in helping) will be posting guides, hints and tips for computers, software and the internet. This is kind of ironic but I also added an area for posting links to spaces/blogs and personal websites along with messenger links and help. Its all pretty new and hopefully in time, with the help of others I can start to list all your favourite websites so everyone can see what every one else is using. It will hopefully be a one stop website for finding anything and everything internet related...Maybe beyond in the future as time goes by...Sorry for the shameless links to my website and forum and thanks for reading till the end.... 3月16日 DIY man ban
A DIY enthusiast who kept his neighbours awake has been banned from using power tools during the night. Paul Jones, 25, of Llanrumney, Cardiff, was served with a six year Anti-Social Behaviour Order following a series of complaints about his round-the-clock drilling and hammering. The order, made at Cardiff Magistrates Court last week, prevents Jones from using power tools in the vicinity of Taunton Avenue and Taunton Crescent unless it is between 11am and 1pm.

Comment: £4 for a pint of beer, thats just crazy but I must admit, it brings a new meaning to the term 'Beer on tap'. Not sure I'd want to have a shower or a bath with beer though as I have to admit to being a drunk a few times and had 'Beer fights' with my friends.
